How Quotes Are Put Together
We provide up-front, honest quotes that will always match the final price, should you decide to go ahead.
That matters most when a job turns out messier than it looked: the number you approved is the number on the invoice.
"Communication was excellent, the quote was clear, and the work was completed promptly." Lily
It costs nothing to get us out to your door (excluding after-hours).
Four things move a plumbing figure:
- Access A tank boxed in under a low deck, or a pipe beneath a fibro floor, means more time on hands and knees than an open laundry.
- Pipe material Copper, galvanised, PVC and polybutylene each come apart and go back together differently.
- Parts The brand and size of a replacement unit or fitting sits plainly on the quote.
- The clock Night and weekend jobs attract a separate rate, set out in writing before any work.
When we're not the right call: tripping power or a scorched switchboard is an electrician's job, as is running a new circuit for a heat pump. You get pointed to that trade, and we stay on the plumbing side of the job.

What Customers Say
I commend them for their very fast and efficient service when we had a burst pipe.
They looked after an issue with the hot water system for us. It turned out that the unit was faulty. To ensure hot water, they immediately replaced the unit with a temporary one.
Suburbs We Cover Around Wangi Wangi
The run takes in the whole peninsula and its neighbours. Arcadia Vale sits next door and gets the same coverage on the same trip. Toronto, Rathmines, Bolton Point and Fassifern are also within reach, so ring and ask.
Questions Worth Asking First
Is there a fee just for coming out?
It costs nothing to get us out to your door (excluding after-hours). Inside business hours, having the job looked at and priced is free. A night or weekend visit has its own rate, and that rate is named when you book.
The hot water has gone cold. What now?
Ring and describe what the unit is doing, whether that's no hot water, lukewarm taps or water on the floor. Many units here are decades old, so the call is repair or replace, and that decision gets explained with a fixed figure for each option before you choose.
There's a gas smell in the house. What should I do?
Open windows and doors, don't flick switches or light anything, and get everyone outside. From outside, call the gas network emergency line, then ring us to find and repair the leak. Gas work is licensed work, and a smell is never something to sit on.
Can I clear a blocked drain myself before calling?
A plunger on a slow floor waste is fine. Chemicals are not something we recommend; they can damage old pipes and seldom get to the real blockage. If the line keeps blocking, a jetter or electric eel clears it properly, with a camera check before and after the work.
Do you take on units, shops and strata properties?
Yes. A single cottage, a unit block and a shop all get the same licensed work. Strata jobs follow a set process: tenants are called to arrange access, a confirmation and a pre-arrival message go out, and the invoice is detailed with photos attached.
Which areas do you service?
The whole Wangi Wangi peninsula, from the village strip to the point, plus Arcadia Vale on the same run. Toronto and the Rathmines side are within reach, Fassifern too. If your suburb is nearby, ring and ask.
